小口現金とは(Petty Cash)
- 各部署ごとに予め用意して、渡しておいたお金
流れ：
① 会計係は一定の小口現金を、小口現金係に渡す。
② 小口現金係は、文房具代、電話代、電車代などの各種支払いをする
③ 小口現金係は、一定期間(通常、１週間や１ヶ月)を過ぎると、会計係に②の支払いを報告する
④ 会計係は、小口現金係が使った額と同額の小口現金を再び補充する
＊ J /Eは③(会計係に報告した時)にまとめて行うルールになっている。
小口現金の例：
- 旅費交通費 (Travel expense)
- 消耗品費 (Office Supplies Expense)
- 水道光熱費 (Utilities expense)
- 通信費 (Communication expense)
- 修繕費 (Repair expense)
- 雑費 (Miscellaneous expense)
小口現金は左側に記入する。
例題１：
A商店は、定額資金前渡制を採用し、小切手2,000円を振り出して、小口現金係に渡した。
